Since our inception, Rough Riderz have benefitted from extensive coverage in the national media, including magazines such as Dirt, MBR, MBUK and Singletrack, with TV coverage on BBC's Countryfile and Wild, and Channel 4 News. This level of publicity has started to snowball, generating a great deal of interest from the general public, government and industry.

This page is dedicated to the companies and organisations currently offering much-needed financial assistance. Those helping our unique, not-for-profit sports club enable us to expand our activities, increase awareness and further promote participation in the newest brand of mountain biking to hit the UK. Open to both disabled and able-bodied bikers, Rough Riderz is the most diverse and inclusive downhill mountain biking club in the UK. Organising regular Taster Days for beginners, one of our main aims is to promote the importance of integrated sport nationwide.

Additional support would allow us to go one step further, holding regular downhill races, with the eventual prospect of creating a sponsored British team. It is our firm belief that everyone should have the opportunity to get involved in this exciting new extreme sport, so sponsorship is paramount to our continued expansion and success.

In 2011, we set up a project to build 4 wheeled downhill mountain bikes here in the UK, called Project Gravity X. Rough Riderz have since teamed up with an engineer from Gower College, Swansea, who has secured funding from the Welsh Government to design a prototype bike.
