We have Taster Day courses available throughout the year but you must already be registered as a member before you can make a booking. All sessions include the use of our club bike and the provision of top quality protective gear, including full face helmet, body armour, knee pads, goggles and gloves.
Training and guidance is provided on the trails by experienced riders, with a minimum of six runs (with free uplift service) guaranteed on the day, all for only £150 per session.
PLEASE NOTE: Taster Days are designed for one rider only. Any friends or family who also wish to attend must provide their own bikes and equipment.
Check out the The Launchpad Trail promo video, featuring the UK’s first purpose built gravity biking trail. This track, funded by the Gloucestershire Environmental Trust and the Forestry Commission, was officially opened at the Forest of Dean on 31st October 2014.
Evolve Production Services and Industrial Lifting Solutions have very kindly offered to sponsor the club’s Taster Day scheme for 2015. This enables us to offer a 50% discount on the normal cost of registration, for the first 10 participants wishing to book with a session with us over the next 12 months. Unfortunately, this special offer has now ended, but you are still able to reserve your own place on the Taster Day scheme. Please follow the instructions below in order to experience this amazing and exhilarating sport for yourself!
Our Taster Days are hosted at either Whinlatter in the Lake District, with all sessions held on a Tuesday only, or the Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire at weekends only.
To apply for a course, simply register as a member and, once you have done this, choose an available date from the calendar and send us an email detailing the time and place you wish to attend a session.
You will then be sent an Information Pack, including a Medical Form, which must be completed and returned as soon as possible. When this document is returned you will be invoiced via PayPal and, once payment has been received, your requested date will be reserved.
